Job Summary

Validate over-the-air (OTA) software updates for automotive ECUs and vehicles by executing test plans and investigating failures. Work with systems engineers and software developers to perform functional and regression testing across HIL benches, lab and prototype vehicles under varying network, power, and update conditions. Build and maintain Python-based test automation, analyze logs, verify engineering fixes, and document bugs and validation artifacts to improve OTA reliability.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and execute manual and automated test cases for OTA software features and system requirements.
•Validate OTA update workflows across HIL benches, lab vehicles, and prototype vehicles, including ECU communication and vehicle functionality.
•Perform functional and regression testing across vehicle ECUs under various network, power, and update conditions.
•Develop and maintain Python-based test automation to improve coverage and regression efficiency.
•Analyze logs, investigate defects, verify fixes with engineering teams, and document test results, bug reports, and validation artifacts.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 110,000 - 155,000 annually

Key Requirements

•2+ years of experience in software validation, embedded systems, or automotive engineering.
•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
•Basic Python programming skills.
•Familiarity with the Linux command line.
•Understanding of software testing fundamentals (test case design, defect lifecycle, regression testing).
