Key Responsibilities

  • •Take end-to-end accountability for delivery of large, complex transport infrastructure projects across the full lifecycle.
  • •Provide leadership across design, project management, and construction interface to achieve scope, cost, programme, quality, and safety outcomes.
  • •Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior clients, contractors, regulators, and internal stakeholders throughout delivery.
  • •Establish and oversee project governance, commercial management, and risk mitigation processes from inception through completion.
  • •Mentor and develop senior project managers and technical leaders, and contribute to work-winning activities and pursuit strategies.

Key Requirements

  • •At least 15 years of experience delivering major road, bridge, or aviation projects in Australia in consultancy, contractor, or client-side environments.
  • •Experience leading large, multidisciplinary teams and complex interfaces across design and construction.
  • •Sound commercial judgement managing large project budgets, programme risk, and contractual arrangements.
  • •A leadership style that is calm under pressure, decisive when required, and collaborative by default.
  • •Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
