Job Summary

Operate equipment and perform cleanroom processes to build Focal Plane Array (FPA) hardware, working expert-level within your assigned work cell. Follow safety-first practices and written procedures, handle fragile components, and accurately document work in electronic traveler and tracking databases. Apply advanced FPA processing skills (e.g., hybridize, wet etch, photomask, fixturing, hotplate processing, wire bond, metrology/inspection) with minimal supervision and execute challenging technical assignments.

Key Responsibilities

•Participate in a safety-first work environment and work in a class 100 cleanroom while wearing a bunny suit under yellow lights.
•Operate equipment and perform processes to build hardware in the FPA area with high technical skill and minimal supervision.
•Handle fragile hardware and manually manipulate small parts during processing.
•Rigorously follow written procedures and work instructions and document data on travelers and in electronic databases.
•Execute advanced FPA processing (e.g., hybridize, wet etch, photomask, fixturing, hotplate processing, surface treatment, wire bond, metrology/inspection), cross-train as needed, and multitask within the work cell.

Key Requirements
