Job Summary

Perform general maintenance and preventive repairs for facilities and equipment, handling tasks across trades such as electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, roofing, painting, and masonry. Replace electrical receptacles, switches, fixtures, motors, and blocked plumbing components, patch walls and ceilings, repair flooring and tiles, and maintain security barriers and arms. Assist skilled trades staff, follow QC/CS requirements, and may work an on-call schedule in a Monday–Friday on-site role.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform facilities repair and preventive maintenance across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, welding, carpentry, plastering, masonry, roofing, and related equipment.
•Replace electrical receptacles, switches, bulbs, fixtures, and motors, and repair or replace electrical outlets, light fixtures, switches, and other controls.
•Paint buildings and equipment, patch plaster walls, and repair or replace tiles and other wall coverings and damaged floors, steps, sidewalks, and paneling.
•Repair plumbing by clearing blocked sewage and drain lines and replacing or repairing faucets, toilets, sinks, valves, and water lines.
•Assist skilled plumbers, electricians, and other maintenance staff; maintain security barriers and arms; perform QC/CS actions and follow written and verbal instructions.

Travel: Low travel

Salary: USD 30.6 hourly

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent (or 5 years of direct experience in general maintenance and repair).
•2 years of experience in general maintenance and repair, including preventive maintenance and repairing equipment and structures.
•Ability to perform complex assignments independently and complete final work; ability to read drawings, detailed sketches, and requisitions for needed materials.
•Thorough knowledge of common tools and practices across multiple trades including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, painting, welding, masonry, roofing, and electronic work.
•Ability to interpret and follow oral and written instructions, including directing unskilled and semi-skilled workers; may need to use a respirator if required.
