Job Summary

Lead the technical development and integration of a maritime product from concept through delivery. You’ll support architecture definition and product scoping, build development timelines and milestones, and partner with product and systems leads to execute on plan. Own key technical decisions for the AUV, run early system trades and studies (e.g., energy storage and payload capacity), and lead a new engineering team supporting SRR/PDR/CDR, reliability, and root-cause corrective actions.

•Support early architecture definition and scoping, including prototype design and key technical requirements.
•Develop development timelines with milestones and staffing needs to drive execution.
•Make accountable technical decisions for the AUV and lead initial system trades/studies (energy storage, vehicle control, and payload/volume/mass budgets).
•Lead a new team within Anduril Maritime to develop and prototype a platform and support SRR/PDR/CDR, reliability, and root-cause corrective actions.

Travel: Medium travel

Salary: USD 253,000 - 336,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Deep understanding of ocean-going craft, systems engineering, product development, and overall engineering process.
•Experience in a senior role leading maritime programs from initial concept through test and delivery to customers.
•Strong understanding of the underlying rationale behind vehicle and systems design.
•Experience working on mission-critical DoD systems.
•Bachelor’s degree in Marine, Mechanical, Electrical or Software engineering (or equivalent experience) and eligibility to obtain/maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
