Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as a subject matter expert on compliance and company policies, advising managers and employees.
  • •Coach and counsel managers on poor performance and misconduct cases.
  • •Support execution and tracking of disciplinary actions in line with local laws and regulations.
  • •Handle terminations and ensure correct steps and documentation to minimize labor-claim risk.
  • •Conduct impartial grievance investigations, identify trends, and recommend procedural improvements and policy/training changes.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Law, or a related field.
  • •Minimum 6-8 years’ experience in Employee Relations or HR Business Partnering/Generalist roles.
  • •Demonstrated knowledge of employment law, workforce reduction projects, and handling complex ER issues.

  • •Fluency in written and spoken Japanese and English.
