Job Summary

Lead and deliver building structural engineering projects across ME sectors, providing technical leadership, client engagement, and team development. Drive design excellence in Eurocode-based building structures, manage projects from concept to construction, and coordinate with architecture, MEP, and civils teams to ensure high-quality outputs.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead structural design for medium to large building projects using Eurocodes and UK best practices, providing high-level technical review of calculations, drawings, and reports.
•Drive project delivery from concept to construction, developing scopes, programmes, and fee proposals while monitoring progress and budgets.
•Coordinate with multidisciplinary design teams (architecture, MEP, civils) to ensure timely delivery of design information to clients and contractors.
•Build and maintain strong client relationships through delivery excellence, and identify opportunities to support bid development and growth of the structures team.
•Mentor and develop engineers and graduates within the structures group, overseeing resource planning and CPD initiatives.

Key Requirements

•BEng/MEng/MSc in Civil or Structural Engineering (Bachelor’s degree at minimum)
•Typically 15+ years of experience in building structure design and delivery
•Experience leading ME-based multidisciplinary building projects and client-facing roles
•Strong communication, stakeholder management, and ability to manage multiple priorities
•Proficiency with structural design software (ETABS, STAAD, Robot, Tekla, RAM) and BIM tools (Revit)
