Key Responsibilities

•Partner with a distributed compiler and runtime team to accelerate workloads on NVIDIA Vera and Vera Rubin systems.
•Analyze execution paths across interpreters, bytecode, JIT/AOT compilers, VMs, garbage collection, runtime libraries, and OS interactions.
•Investigate CPU agentic application stacks including Python, Node.js, Java, and related frameworks.
•Work with application performance, CPU architecture, compiler, runtime, and product teams to identify bottlenecks and deliver measurable speedups.
•Land optimizations in open source and internal NVIDIA stacks, and participate in HW/SW co-design from pre-silicon through launch and production support.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's, Master's, Ph.D., or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
•5+ years of production software development experience in compilers, language runtimes, virtual machines, interpreters, performance engineering, or related systems software.
•Excellent hands-on C/C++ programming skills and experience working in large production codebases.
•Deep understanding of managed runtime implementation techniques including bytecode interpreters, JIT/AOT compilation, profiling, deoptimization, inline caching, garbage collection, runtime libraries, or VM services.
•Hands-on experience analyzing and improving application performance using profilers, tracing, benchmarking, hardware performance counters, or systematic analysis methods.
