Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct regular site visits across dark stores to evaluate safety conditions and provide practical risk-reduction recommendations.
  • •Perform risk assessments and safety audits for in-store and on-road operations, including rider activities, material handling, and equipment usage.
  • •Monitor and report safety performance metrics, incident data, and leading indicators to identify trends and prioritize risks.
  • •Develop and implement safety controls, procedures, and mitigation measures tailored to dark store layouts and rapid picking and rider dispatch activities.
  • •Lead WHS investigations for accidents, near misses, and incidents; ensure timely reporting, documentation, root cause analysis, and corrective action tracking.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of increasing responsibilities in WHS or environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service operations.
  • •Experience implementing lean principles and process improvement in an operational environment.
  • •Experience managing safety across under-the-roof and on-the-road operations, including complex supply chains in multiple jurisdictions.
  • •Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including pivot tables and creating charts/graphics.
  • •NEBOSH (National General Certificate) or a Health and Safety NVQ Level 3 or NEBOSH National General Certificate (or equivalent).
