Key Responsibilities

•Lead and execute bridge and waterfront inspections in accordance with client requirements, NBIS standards, and industry best practices
•Apply sound engineering judgment to evaluate structural conditions and develop recommendations for repair, rehabilitation, or replacement
•Plan inspection approaches, including field logistics, dive operations, and staffing needs
•Review and finalize inspection reports to ensure technical accuracy, clarity, and compliance
•Perform and check engineering calculations related to structural assessment, load ratings, and construction inspections

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 120,000 - 140,000 annually

Key Requirements

•B.S. in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
•7+ years of experience in bridge and/or waterfront inspection
•Professional Engineer (PE) license in PA, NY, and NJ (or ability to obtain within six months)
•NBIS Team Leader certification
•NBIS Underwater Bridge Inspector
