Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and execute bridge and waterfront inspections in accordance with client requirements, NBIS standards, and industry best practices
  • •Apply sound engineering judgment to evaluate structural conditions and develop recommendations for repair, rehabilitation, or replacement
  • •Plan inspection approaches, including field logistics, dive operations, and staffing needs
  • •Review and finalize inspection reports to ensure technical accuracy, clarity, and compliance
  • •Perform and check engineering calculations related to structural assessment, load ratings, and construction inspections

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 120,000 - 140,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •B.S. in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
  • •7+ years of experience in bridge and/or waterfront inspection
  • •Professional Engineer (PE) license in PA, NY, and NJ (or ability to obtain within six months)
  • •NBIS Team Leader certification
  • •NBIS Underwater Bridge Inspector
