Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage and direct small to medium project design teams.
  • •Prepare scope of work and costing documents for proposals.
  • •Coordinate with other senior engineering staff, lead junior team members, project stakeholders and other disciplines to manage an organized approach to project execution.
  • •Perform professional civil engineering work including design of erosion and sediment control measures in compliance with state requirements, SPCC plans, site grading using AutoCAD Civil 3D, hydraulic systems, hydrologic analyses, and stormwater management facilities.
  • •Prepare permit applications and respond to agency comments in design.
Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
  • •Professional Engineer registration in North Carolina or ability to obtain within one year
  • •7-10 years of professional engineering experience (not including school)
  • •Valid state driver’s license and must pass WSP Motor Vehicle screening
  • •Willingness to travel to project sites and business meetings; project management experience and team leadership skills
