Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive the development and implementation of group legal strategy and contribute to the delivery of the organizations general business strategy.
  • •Provide proactive, in-depth, business-focused advice and execution.
  • •Manage and assist with legal response to corporate and wider matters encountered by the company and internal stakeholders; lead external communication on legal matters including negotiations with external parties.
  • •Lead, advise and support a wide variety of transactional, reorganisations and corporate governance initiatives.
  • •Assist in transactional activities including M&A, majority and minority investments and joint ventures as well as restructurings globally.

Key Requirements

  • •Qualified to practice law in a leading jurisdiction with significant corporate legal experience.
  • •Typically 8+ years of post qualification experience (as a guide) working at a top law firm and/or in-house at a well-established corporate or high-growth company.
  • •Ideally trained in a reputable law firm within the corporate practice with a focus on corporate transactional work and general corporate governance.
  • •Proven expertise in managing complex projects across multiple jurisdictions globally.
  • •Excellent legal drafting and interpretation skills, with strong problem solving, analytical and organizational abilities.
