Job Summary

Safely handle lumber products by moving, securing, and stacking materials to meet bundle and customer requirements. You’ll label products by type, size, and count, apply tags before/after treatment, and band, bundle, and attach protectors and loading sticks. Maintain accurate tag inventory, record production on sheets, keep work areas clean, and support safety, CI, and related programs.

Key Responsibilities

•Safely move, secure, stack, and band lumber products and materials according to instructions.
•Label material with type, size, and count specifications and apply individual tags before/after treatment/production.
•Use a staple gun and troubleshoot equipment as needed.
•Maintain accurate tag inventory, report discrepancies to a supervisor, and record production on production sheets.
•Maintain a clean and organized work area and assist with loading/unloading carts and other required duties.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma/GED preferred, but not required.
•No minimum experience required; manufacturing or lumber experience preferred.
•Working knowledge of basic math preferred.
•Must be at least 18 years of age.
