Key Responsibilities

•Provide high level transportation planning guidance and lead investigations, inspections, and surveys to support equitable development and multimodal access.
•Prepare general plans, master plans, zoning codes, and development standards for transportation projects, ensuring regulatory compliance.
•Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, subcontractors, and technical staff to deliver project work on time and within budget.
•Lead public involvement efforts, respond to questions, and assist with long-range planning.
•Prepare technical memos, reports, and presentations summarizing research findings and conclusions.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Transportation Planning, Urban Planning, Environmental Planning, or related field (or equivalent experience).
•7 to 10 years of experience in transportation planning, including general/master plans, zoning updates, public involvement, and regulatory compliance.
•Proficiency with the transportation project development cycle from planning to implementation.
•Experience leading transportation planning reports, impact assessments, and permit applications with QA/QC.
•Experience with CAD, ArcGIS, Adobe Illustrator/Creative Suite, Sketch-Up and technical writing.
