Job Summary

Senior Account Manager responsible for direct sales of Motorola Solutions’ communications systems, video-based situational awareness, and access control solutions to U.S. DoD/DoW and other government accounts in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Leads account strategy, builds customer relationships, and coordinates proposals and funding options while traveling across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the U.S. to drive growth.

Key Responsibilities

•Direct sales of communications systems/solutions, video-based situational awareness and access control solutions, and related software/devices to government accounts in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa
•Identify diverse customer needs and map our product portfolio to address them
•Establish strong, long-term relationships with DoD/DoW and foreign government customers to drive short- and long-term growth
•Oversee customer satisfaction, account strategy, product lifecycle, discounting, budgets, and training/sales services
•Assist customers in developing ROI strategies and funding/procurement options through U.S. funding mechanisms

Travel: Extensive travel

Key Requirements

•4+ years experience selling, designing, implementing, and/or 10+ years using Motorola Solutions communications systems, video-based situational awareness and access controls solutions, as well as associated end-user devices in real-world situations
•Excellent communication and creative selling skills, including strong presentation and writing skills
•Ability to close sales/projects/programs must be demonstrated
•Understanding of the proposal process and ability to assemble proposals
•General technical knowledge of IP networks and RF principals (plus)
