Principal Mechanical Engineer responsible for leading design reviews and building services for UK projects while fostering collaboration with the GCC team, monitoring project progress, and managing risks and resources. Play a key role in delivering high-quality mechanical engineering solutions, developing energy strategies, and ensuring alignment with UK standards across multiple Indian offices and international interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

•Undertake technical reviews and contribute to the design, including peer reviews and checks
•Provide continuous feedback to project leadership on protocol effectiveness and process improvements
•Develop positive professional relationships with the WSP UK team and communicate project progress
•Participate in project and team meetings, disseminate information, and coordinate with other teams within WSP
•Identify and address risk issues and ensure compliance with company contracting processes

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related subject
•Minimum of 12+ years of relevant work experience
•Must be technically proficient in mechanical building services
•Experience with UK projects and knowledge of UK building codes and standards
•Proficient in technical software such as HAP, Hevacomp, IES and project management tools (MS Outlook/Word/Excel/Project)
