Location: London
Workplace: Onsite
Employment Type: Full time
Job Function: Administration & Executive Assistance
Seniority: Mid level

Key Responsibilities

  • •Run single-cell RNA-seq and ATAC-seq workflows end-to-end from cell input through sequencing-ready libraries.
  • •Process single-cell sequencing libraries to a consistent, QC-passing standard from preparation through library readiness.
  • •Partner with automation engineers to port manual single-cell and library prep workflows onto automated systems.
  • •Maintain chain-of-custody for genomics samples, plate maps, and metadata capture in LIMS/ELN for traceability.
  • •Interface with computational/ML teams on library design, demultiplexing logic, expected outputs, and metadata schema.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant Life Sciences discipline with 2+ years of additional experience in industry or an academic genomics core facility.
  • •Hands-on expertise in single-cell genomics library generation using droplet microfluidics and/or combinatorial-indexing methods; scATAC-seq or other epigenomic methods are a plus.
  • •Familiarity with NGS operations and library QC; Illumina sequencing is essential (Ultima or other platforms are a plus).
  • •Strong cross-functional coordination skills, including effective collaboration with computational/ML colleagues.
  • •Knowledge of QC, batch-effect, and experimental-design considerations for downstream usability.
