Key Responsibilities

  • •Independently develop regulatory strategies and tactical plans for Canadian products to drive business results.
  • •Prepare regulatory dossiers and related components to achieve approvals (e.g., chemistry, toxicology, residue chemistry, environmental fate).
  • •Maintain and defend registrations via re-evaluations, special reviews, label amendments, and product life-cycle management.
  • •Ensure compliance with Pest Control Product regulations and interpret federal and provincial pesticide laws.
  • •Manage data compensation regulatory processes and coordinate stakeholders to reach favorable settlement agreements, while maintaining regulatory records and databases.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, agronomy, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • •7+ years of scientific experience relevant to pesticide regulation in Canada.
  • •Experience advocating for regulatory outcomes through industry working groups and committees.
  • •Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
