Key Responsibilities

  • •Receive and execute trade instructions from customers and as backup for unavailable Investment Executives and their assistants.
  • •Accurately enter stock, mutual fund, bond, option, and UIT orders through NFS.
  • •Maintain daily activity blotters to satisfy compliance requirements.
  • •Review and execute trades submitted via voice or Internet systems; arrange and monitor special settlement instruction requests.
  • •Support client accounts by handling trade error corrections, maintaining gain and loss spreadsheets, and responding to margin calls and related account issues.

Key Requirements

  • •1-3 years of brokerage industry experience.
  • •Understanding of equity and mutual fund trading, including stop, limit, market, GTC, margin requirements, and option orders.
  • •Ability to work in a stressful environment, meet deadlines, and provide high attention to detail.
  • •PC literacy with proficiency in Windows and Microsoft products, especially Excel.
  • •Series 7 and Series 63 licenses required (four-year college degree in business/accounting or related discipline preferred/considered equivalent with similar experience).
