Job Summary

Conduct risk-based IT audits at the Cologne site alongside national and international audit teams. Support the full audit cycle from planning and risk analysis through testing to reporting, partnering with business areas, management, international audit teams, and the IT Center of Excellence. Plan, execute, and document independent IT and ICT audits, analyzing IT risks and applying appropriate audit approaches across IT general controls, information security, cloud, IAM, change/release, third-party outsourcing, and resilience topics.

Key Responsibilities

•Execute risk-based audits in IT, information security, cyber security, cloud, data management, IT governance, and digital/transformation projects together with audit teams.
•Support the end-to-end audit cycle: planning and risk analysis, testing, and reporting; collaborate with business areas, management, international audit teams, and the IT Center of Excellence.
•Plan, perform, and document risk-oriented IT and ICT audits independently and analyze IT risks to derive appropriate audit approaches.
•Conduct audits in central IT areas including IT General Controls (ITGC), information security, cyber security, and cloud technologies.
•Perform audits across domains such as data management, identity and access management, change and release management, third-party/outsourcing, business continuity, and operational resilience.

Key Requirements

•Successfully completed degree in computer science, business informatics, cyber security, business administration, or a comparable program.
•At least 4–6 years of professional experience in IT audit, IT risk management, cyber security, IT compliance, information security, or a comparable role, ideally in insurance or financial services.
•Good knowledge of control frameworks and regulatory requirements such as DORA, NIS2, ISO 27001, COBIT, or ITIL.
•Experience with cloud technologies, digital platforms, and modern IT architectures (advantage).
•Certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CRISC, CIA or comparable qualifications.
