Job Summary

Drive commercial construction sales in your assigned Kansas City territory by selling DEWALT, BLACK+DECKER, STANLEY, LENOX, IRWIN, BOSTITCH, and related brands to end-user customers. Build and manage key partner relationships, support CORE and other contract/program responsibilities, and teach/mentor a local market team on end-user development. Coordinate channel marketing initiatives and track plans and results using Salesforce.com as a CRM.

•Achieve top-line sales targets by selling DEWALT PTE, HTAS, STANLEY, LENOX, IRWIN, BOSTITCH, and PORTERCABLE brands to end-user customers.
•Establish, develop, and maintain key relationships with end-user partners and manage CORE and other SBD user contracts/programs.
•Teach and mentor the local market team on end-user development and align efforts with local market teams, product managers, distributors, and service centers.
•Partner with Channel Marketing to implement and coordinate marketing initiatives.
•Maintain and use Salesforce.com as a CRM and planning tool, communicating successes and failures with key accounts and opportunities.

Travel: High travel

Salary: USD 84,000 - 135,200 annually

Key Requirements

•3+ years of experience in sales or marketing for construction supplies with a proven record of delivering results.
•Sell to high-level executives/C-suite and jobsite directors (preferred).
•Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or related fields (preferred) or relevant construction field experience.
•Strong interpersonal, negotiation, problem-solving, verbal and written communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
•Valid Driver’s License and ability to travel up to 50% within the territory (plus proficiency in Microsoft Office applications).
