Key Responsibilities

  • •Build and operate integrations to connect Light with multi-tenant banking APIs, e-invoicing networks, and tax platforms.
  • •Design abstractions to turn multiple partner APIs into a coherent internal model while maintaining isolation per tenant.
  • •Implement reliable, auditable integrations with attention to correctness, rate limits, and production parity.
  • •Ensure end-to-end reconciliation and data integrity across external systems and internal processes.
  • •Collaborate across the stack (backend with Kotlin, frontend awareness) to ship reliable integration features quickly.

Key Requirements

  • •4-6 years of experience ideally, plus a track record of building integrations in production
  • •Hands-on experience building integrations with external systems and APIs where robustness is critical
  • •Direct experience with banking or payments APIs (e.g., corporate banking, treasury, or payments platforms)
  • •Comfort with a full-stack-ish role and being backend-focused while considering cross-stack implications
  • •Strong emphasis on data integrity and reliability, with experience in idempotency, retries, and end-to-end reconciliation
