Key Responsibilities

•Manage multiple project phases from beginning to closeout for moderately complex construction/design engagements.
•Provide leadership to architects, engineers, and design consultants; coordinate user groups and stakeholders.
•Control design and project cost, budget, and schedule; report to the client and support pre-design scheduling and budgeting.
•Oversee permitting/jurisdictional approvals, construction logistics planning, bidding, and construction contract review/coordination.
•Review change orders, monitor construction progress/variances, verify applications for payment, and resolve complex disputes.

Key Requirements

•BA/BS plus 2 years of relevant experience (or demonstrated equivalency).
•Five years of full-time paid professional experience managing facilities design or capital project planning/coordination, including design, contract administration, cost estimating, and scheduling.
•Experience working with the Division of the State Architect (DSA) and using Building Information Modeling (BIM).
•Experience with construction management and progressive design-build.
•Preferred: manage projects $10M+; experience with public works, prevailing wage/DIR, and coordinating local worker PLAs.
