Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage multiple project phases from beginning to closeout for moderately complex construction/design engagements.
  • •Provide leadership to architects, engineers, and design consultants; coordinate user groups and stakeholders.
  • •Control design and project cost, budget, and schedule; report to the client and support pre-design scheduling and budgeting.
  • •Oversee permitting/jurisdictional approvals, construction logistics planning, bidding, and construction contract review/coordination.
  • •Review change orders, monitor construction progress/variances, verify applications for payment, and resolve complex disputes.

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS plus 2 years of relevant experience (or demonstrated equivalency).
  • •Five years of full-time paid professional experience managing facilities design or capital project planning/coordination, including design, contract administration, cost estimating, and scheduling.
  • •Experience working with the Division of the State Architect (DSA) and using Building Information Modeling (BIM).
  • •Experience with construction management and progressive design-build.
  • •Preferred: manage projects $10M+; experience with public works, prevailing wage/DIR, and coordinating local worker PLAs.
