Key Responsibilities

  • •Transport bulk scrap commodities to and from barges, railcars, trucks, and storage facilities safely and efficiently.
  • •Operate construction trucks (up to approximately 100 ton) to move scrap and/or finished materials to and from designated locations.
  • •Comply with vehicle safety policies, procedures, and guidelines during operations.
  • •Perform routine inspections, complete approved maintenance as needed, and handle fueling and lubrication.
  • •Follow procedures for loading, traveling, dumping, and vehicle startup/shut down/lockout, and respond to customer requests.
