Key Requirements

  • •Have an active CPA or EA or JD in the state of residency.
  • •3-5 years preparing, signing, and filing returns including Form 1040 and 1120-S; experience with additional complexities (Form 1065, Schedules C/E/SE).
  • •Strong technical proficiency using cloud-based tax research and preparation tools (CCH, GoSystems, SurePrep).
  • •Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to explain tax matters and build trust.
  • •Experience leading complex, cross-functional workstreams and exposure to multi-state tax principles (nexus, apportionment, state allocations).
