Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver day-to-day technical transport planning input across development planning projects.
  • •Develop transport strategies, contribute transport inputs into masterplans, and support expert witness evidence.
  • •Support clients through the planning process and develop transport and parking strategies and scheme development for public sector clients.
  • •Perform project management and leadership roles on appropriate small-to-medium projects, coordinating work with senior colleagues.
  • •Mentor Early Career Professionals and share technical expertise with the project team and stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong transport planning background with experience leading technical work on transport assessments, travel plans, access and parking strategies, and sustainable/active travel provisions.
  • •Experience preparing traffic flow information for use in a transport assessment and/or environmental statement.
  • •Experience using junction capacity modelling software such as Junctions 10 and Linsig, including inputs, outputs and scenario testing.
  • •Ability to perform project management tasks (e.g., budget planning, resource planning, invoicing) on small to medium projects.
  • •Chartered status in a transport-related discipline (or actively pursuing it).
