Job Summary

Operate and troubleshoot molding and auxiliary equipment to meet production objectives for safety, product quality, and maximum operating efficiency. Perform mold setup/removal, alarm response, start-ups, and maintenance while ensuring hoppers are supplied with material. Execute quality checks, SPC knowledge, paperwork, and training for new mechanics. Support production flow by handling product movement, cleaning, and part grinding, following ISO and Quality Management Systems.

Key Responsibilities

•Troubleshoot the molding process by making machine and equipment adjustments to produce quality parts.
•Troubleshoot machines and auxiliary equipment to ensure they function properly and address alarms.
•Perform mold setup and removal, complete full start-ups after setup, and maintain molds and machines.
•Ensure material handling and readiness (e.g., mixing material, keeping hoppers full), and complete required paperwork for production, processing, quality, and scrap.
•Perform quality checks, train new mechanics on machines and processes, and support production by moving finished product to the Q-area and cleaning/grinding parts for reuse or resale.
