Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and implement technical strategy for cell film process development aligned to business and technology objectives.
  • •Lead end-to-end development, integration, and scaling of thin film processes for advanced NAND devices, ensuring manufacturability/scalability readiness.
  • •Drive technology transfer and ramp-up from R&D into high-volume manufacturing.
  • •Resolve complex technical challenges (including RCA and mitigation) affecting process and device failures, and lead yield, cost, and reliability improvement programs.
  • •Mentor senior engineers and represent the function in technical forums and strategic collaborations, benchmarking against industry standards.

Key Requirements

  • •PhD (≥5 years), or Master’s (≥7 years), or Bachelor’s (≥10 years) in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or related fields.
  • •Proven experience in thin film R&D for microelectronic device development, with a track record leading complex technology development.
  • •Deep hands-on expertise in ALD/CVD thin film processes for 3D NAND cell applications, including process development, optimization, and manufacturing sustainment.
  • •Strong understanding of process–device interactions, scaling challenges, and reliability behavior to diagnose film-related performance and yield issues.
  • •Proficiency with DOE, SPC, and data analytics to optimize processes; ability to lead/mentor across process, integration, and manufacturing teams.
