•Mentor junior engineers/analysts on the network tools team and support the Tools Team Lead’s objectives.
•Review threshold and performance monitoring to enhance reporting for trend analysis and capacity planning.
•Recommend and optimize tools to improve CIT’s ability to detect and eliminate threats across the NIH networks.
•Test, implement, and validate vendor upgrades and patches using appropriate change and configuration management processes while maintaining security compliance.
•Contribute domain knowledge to System Accreditation and Authorization documentation and peer review deliverables.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 71,150 - 88,336 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree with 5–8 years of experience (or commensurate experience).
•Be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
•Support and mentor junior engineers/analysts on the network tools team.
•Assist with reviewing threshold and performance monitoring for reporting, trend analysis, and capacity planning.
•Experience contributing to System Accreditation and Authorization documentation.
