Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as a primary contact for academic staff on learning and teaching queries, providing expert guidance and resolving issues, escalating when needed.
  • •Plan, organise, maintain, and deliver activities to support teaching and learning programmes; in some teams, line manage staff.
  • •Take responsibility for complex tasks including welcome/induction and re-induction, attendance monitoring and recording, timetabling, placements, examinations, progression, and graduation.
  • •Compile, manipulate, analyze, and interpret large and complex data sets to produce reports and respond to complex data requests.
  • •Support operational process improvements, review and update documentation, contribute to quality assurance/audits, and provide professional secretarial support to committees and meetings.

Key Requirements

  • •Substantial professional experience in a variety of similar roles.
  • •GCSEs at minimum grade C/4 in English and Mathematics (or equivalent).
  • •A levels or an equivalent level 3 qualification (e.g., Level 3 NVQ or level 3 national diploma).
  • •Comfort taking significant responsibility and proactively proposing new ways of working.
