Key Responsibilities

  • •Validate ETL processes for data accuracy, consistency, completeness, referential integrity, constraints, and normalization.
  • •Perform functional testing on database objects including stored procedures, triggers, views, and functions.
  • •Validate data migrations and use complex SQL queries to verify data correctness and system integrity.
  • •Test data pipelines and transformations and validate report/business logic in Tableau and Power BI.
  • •Build and maintain automated regression and integration test scripts; investigate slow queries and work with DBAs on tuning.

Key Requirements

  • •Advanced ability to write and execute complex SQL queries for data verification, reconciliation, and troubleshooting.
  • •Proven experience validating ETL/ELT pipelines, transformation logic, and complex data warehousing environments.

  • •Experience documenting end-to-end test plans, cases, results, and defects in tools like JIRA or TestRail.
