Job Summary

Manage the implementation of secure software development practices and lead the security testing lifecycle across development projects. Integrate security into DevOps/CI/CD, embed security tooling for SAST/DAST/SCA, and oversee vulnerability testing and remediation. Partner with engineering and DevOps teams on threat modelling and secure design, manage security testing coverage and KPIs, and improve operational maturity while supporting client reporting and technical escalations.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage secure development and testing services across projects, ensuring performance and quality against SLA/KPI requirements.
•Embed security tools into CI/CD pipelines and maintain automated security testing workflows.
•Oversee planning and execution of security testing (static/dynamic analysis), track remediation, and report on coverage and issue trends.
•Support threat modelling and secure design practices and participate in security reviews for new features and applications.
•Contribute to development/testing standards, identify automation opportunities, and report relevant metrics for continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

•5+ years leading secure software development, testing, or DevSecOps environments.
•Hands-on security testing tool experience (e.g., Veracode, SonarQube, Burp Suite).
•Familiarity with secure coding practices, OWASP Top 10, and threat modelling.
•Experience working in Agile or DevOps-driven environments.
•Eligible for UK SC clearance (and relevant security/DevSecOps certifications preferred).
