Key Responsibilities

•Oversee development and periodic updates of internal policies, legislations, and procedures to ensure alignment with federal/local laws and government policies
•Supervise drafting of regulatory guidelines, procedural manuals, and administrative decisions, reviewing final language for legal accuracy and organizational efficiency
•Lead the preparation of legislative propositions and regulatory proposals; coordinate with relevant authorities to obtain approvals and ensure timely implementation
•Conduct gap analyses of the legislative framework to identify weaknesses, overlaps, and regulatory risks, proposing updates and improvements
•Oversee periodic reviews of legal policies and information security controls, ensuring continuous compliance and reduction of legal and regulatory risks

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Law or Sharia and Law (Master's degree preferred)
•10+ years of experience in legal/compliance roles; 8+ years if holding a Master's or professional qualifications
•Must be an UAE National
•Strong knowledge of federal and local UAE laws, governance, and compliance frameworks
•Proven leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams, set objectives, and drive training and development
