Coordinate and optimize international and domestic shipments for a fast-paced logistics team. Develop cost/pricing, prepare RFQs, ensure regulatory paperwork, manage billing, and drive end-to-end delivery through collaboration with domestic and international partners while maintaining strong carrier relationships.

Key Responsibilities

•Determine cost and pricing, develop procedures, and ensure compliance for international freight shipments.
•Prepare shipping freight forwarding requests for quotes and analyze rates and routings to award and manage shipments.
•Ensure regulatory requirements are met and that shipments have the correct paperwork (commercial invoices, packing lists); distribute documentation to carriers, forwarders, customers and customs agents.
•Maintain costs and profits by overseeing and completing proper billing to clients based on pricing.
•Ensure end-to-end delivery by collaborating with internal and external parties and communicating with domestic and overseas partners, terminals, and other modes of transportation.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 3 years of experience in the international logistics industry
•Extensive experience with Major Carriers (FedEx, UPS, DHL) as well as with International Freight Forwarders
•Proficient in ERP, Salesforce and understanding of Microsoft Excel and database functions
•Excellent writing and speaking skills to communicate effectively in complex situations
•Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations at the state, federal, and international levels as they pertain to the core services supplied (i.e., customs, security, other import and export government agencies)
