Job Summary

Design and operate secure Azure Government environments in classified settings, enforcing zero trust, RBAC, and identity federation. Configure and manage Azure security services (Defender for Cloud, Key Vault, Policy, NSGs, Private Endpoints) and automate compliance using PowerShell and Infrastructure as Code. Integrate Sentinel for continuous monitoring and support RMF/ATO activities, including SSPs, POA&Ms, and vulnerability remediations aligned to NIST 800-53, DoD STIGs, and JSIG.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, implement, and maintain secure cloud architectures within Azure Government Secret classified environments.
•Enforce zero trust principles, RBAC, and identity federation; configure Azure security controls such as Defender for Cloud, Key Vault, Azure Policy, NSGs, and Private Endpoints.
•Automate compliance and security operations using PowerShell and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/ARM templates) and integrate SIEM/SOAR tools for monitoring and incident response.
•Conduct security vulnerability assessments and implement remediations aligned to NIST 800-53, DoD STIGs, and JSIG; manage POA&Ms.
•Support RMF/ATO processes by generating security documentation and control evidence, developing System Security Plans (SSPs), coordinating assessments, and serving as a liaison to authorizing officials.

•Active Secret clearance and ability to maintain Secret clearance requirements.
•5+ years in cloud security, including 2+ years in Azure Government or DoD environments.
•Proficiency with PowerShell and/or Python or Bash plus Infrastructure as Code (ARM, Bicep, Terraform).
•Experience applying RMF/ATO processes, including vulnerability assessments and remediations aligned to NIST 800-53, DoD STIGs, and JSIG.
