Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as the Designated Person (DP) for Operational Risk Management and report to boards and regulators.
  • •Provide day-to-day oversight of operational risk processes, including business resilience.
  • •Own the Risk Management Framework document and the Risk Appetite Statement, including monitoring and assessment of risk appetite.
  • •Deliver ICAAP risk assessments and support ongoing governance through cross-functional committees.
  • •Support global non-financial risk processes and coordinate with other Designated Persons across the entity, including third-party oversight considerations.

Key Requirements

  • •Track record in a risk management capacity at a senior level, with detailed knowledge of asset management businesses, especially EU/UK regulated entities.
  • •Suitable qualifications and experience that directly support the expectations of the PCF39B Designated Person role.
  • •Experience in operational risk or asset management risk within a regulated business, including third-party/outsourcing oversight expectations.
  • •Knowledge of regulatory communication and expectations, including relevant CBI, ESMA, and UCITS regulations.
  • •Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally, adjusting style to the audience when explaining complex situations.
