Develop technically grounded well intervention concepts that deliver measurable field value across the asset lifecycle. Lead intervention strategy for mature wells (rigless interventions, workovers, recompletions, stimulation, cleanout, water shutoff, integrity remediation, abandonment preparation), integrate reservoir/production/integrity/HSE/logistics inputs, and translate execution and risk/value into proposal-ready scopes supported by field learning.

Key Responsibilities

•Define fit-for-purpose intervention strategies for mature wells, including rigless interventions, workovers, recompletions, stimulation, cleanout, water shutoff, integrity remediation, and abandonment preparation.
•Select and challenge downhole technologies, tools, deployment methods, and operating envelopes for production restoration, injectivity improvement, access remediation, and safe abandonment.
•Integrate reservoir, production, well integrity, completion, facilities, HSE, logistics, and commercial inputs during design to avoid unrealistic scopes.
•Apply field lessons through pre-job planning, post-job diagnostics, production/injectivity response tracking, integrity confirmation, and lessons learned.
•Frame intervention sequence, resources, rig/rigless assumptions, pressure control needs, logistics, HSE exposure, cost drivers, schedule implications, and quantify risk/value inputs for proposals.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum or Mechanical Engineering.
•15+ years of experience in well interventions, completions, workovers, well integrity, and mature field production restoration (rig-based and rigless).
•Deep understanding of downhole tools, intervention methods, well access constraints, pressure control, and abandonment-related practices.
•Proven ability to frame intervention-led value propositions and defend execution assumptions with clients and senior stakeholders.
•Ability to work cross-functionally in multicultural environments.
