Key Responsibilities

  • •Own and manage the day-to-day operations of the lab, ensuring it is well structured and organized; execute changes either personally or via remote hands.
  • •Develop and extend the Metal as a Service (MAAS) software to work with a wide variety of server and network hardware using Python.
  • •Expand MAAS functionality by creating integrations with testing and scheduling software such as Testflinger.
  • •Standardise processes, configurations, and procedures across data centres in cooperation with engineers at other sites.
  • •Improve and extend hardware and network monitoring through automation and regularly update asset management tools to ensure accuracy.
