Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead mechanical design of complex, high-precision components and assemblies with robust functionality, manufacturability, and long-term reliability.
  • •Serve as materials authority for mechanical components by evaluating materials (metals, alloys, coatings, composites, polymers) and their performance under demanding environments.
  • •Own technical decisions for materials, finishes, coatings, and critical tolerances using GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis.
  • •Guide and mentor junior engineers on materials usage, DFM, machining practices, drawing standards, and engineering best practices.
  • •Oversee design reviews, manufacturability assessments, and resolution of complex shop-floor issues; develop 3D models, drawings, and documentation; support prototypes and validation testing.
