Key Responsibilities

  • •Define the satellite-communications network transmission subsystem and manage configuration of its components.
  • •Define satellite communication ground stations.
  • •Select station building blocks (antenna, RF elements, telemanagement system, router, switch, etc.) from suppliers and integrate them into the system.
  • •Size required parameters (throughput, RF, link budgets).
  • •Produce estimates and technical files for bids, and support commercial negotiations and Delivery test/integration activities.

Key Requirements

  • •Engineering degree (or equivalent), ideally in Telecommunications.
  • •Ability to organize work for defining and developing a subsystem and manage its configuration.
  • •Knowledge of satellite transmission technologies (e.g., hyperfrequencies/RF, modulation, networks).
  • •Experience designing and deploying anchor stations is a plus.
  • •Experience working with constraints and environments of military solutions.
