Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and manage a team delivering challenging bridges projects with required quality and within agreed schedules.
  • •Take accountability for delivery of complex and larger projects.
  • •Create and support innovation, and provide clarity and direction for staff on technical issues.
  • •Drive and improve professional qualification and membership with relevant bodies within the Civil GCC.
  • •Promote collaboration across the wider WSP business, supporting inclusive team culture and technical progression.

Key Requirements

  • •14–24 years of experience.
  • •Proven knowledge of the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges (DMRB) and the Manual of Contract Documents for Highway Works (MCDHW) for structural schemes.
  • •Experience with grillage, space frame, and FEM analysis software packages such as LUSAS and MIDAS.
  • •Experience designing or assessing steel, reinforced, and pre-stressed concrete structures to Euro and BS codes.
  • •Desirable professional chartership with relevant bodies (e.g., IStructE or ICE) and effective client-facing communication skills.
