Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform building controls design using direct digital controls for electronic comfort control and automation systems.
  • •Obtain and review contract documents, including mechanical plans, specifications, estimates, and equipment submittals, for incorporation into automation system design.
  • •Create installation, submittal, as-built, and transition-to-service drawings, and develop advanced sequences of operations that meet project requirements.
  • •Generate operation and maintenance manuals; review contract documents and conduct job surveys; review equipment submittals for design incorporation.
  • •Transition documents to the field and support project work including wiring/programming, electrical terminations, commissioning, graphic development, test and startup as required.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Construction or Engineering Technology, or 3+ years of HVAC industry experience performing project management or estimating roles.
  • •Familiarity with operation and design of HVAC systems, building automation systems, and/or temperature controls.
  • •Familiarity with new construction and renovation/retrofit, performance contracting, and service project management (preferred).
  • •Windows operating system and Microsoft Office product knowledge.
  • •Experience with a drafting/design program and understanding of industry standard protocol and requirements for integration (preferred).
