Key Responsibilities

  • •Carry out duties as directed by the Project Manager and Head of Construction, with regular on-site presence during the construction phase.
  • •Monitor compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental requirements and actively promote a positive safety culture; attend safety leadership meetings and forums.
  • •Review construction quality plans, inspection and test plans, and associated documentation; perform surveillance/monitoring and hold/witness point inspections.
  • •Review and comment on Contractor Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) via the P2W permit system; inspect works against drawings, specifications, and best practice.
  • •Maintain a site diary and prepare daily site reports; support RFIs, change requests, technical queries, safety file compilation, KPI establishment, and defects close-out before/after practical completion.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years’ experience on major Civil/Building works projects in the aviation sector, preferably with airport construction experience.
  • •Strong knowledge of infrastructure, engineering, and delivery with construction methodologies.
  • •Tangible experience documenting construction best-practice development and implementation frameworks, policies, and standards.
  • •Experience engaging stakeholders across the organization to improve processes and guidance for project delivery.
  • •Experience operating in an aviation site-based position.
