Job Summary

Seeking a Commissioning Engineer to lead the startup and commissioning of instrumentation and controls systems for oil & gas/energy projects, onsite in the United States. You will manage commissioning philosophy, schedules, and procedures, oversee handovers between Construction and Operations, and ensure safety policy compliance while coordinating with clients and multi-disciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

•Prepare/support Commissioning Team with commissioning philosophy, schedule and procedures during project Detailed Design phase
•Execute system commissioning activities during all phases of the project and perform commissioning procedures with team support
•Assist in system handover and acceptance from Construction to Operations, including punch list generation
•Report to the Project Manager on issues regarding commissioning, start-up schedule and progress
•Interface with client management regarding commissioning and start-up and ensure resources are utilized cost-effectively

Key Requirements

•Degree in Engineering or relevant experience Oil and Gas / Energy Industry. Equivalent industry certifications and experience will be considered
•5+ years of experience in oil and gas / energy industry Engineering, Construction, Commissioning, Start-Up and Operations experience, particularly Commissioning and Start-up experience of large capital projects, multi-discipline supervisory roles in all industry type facilities
•Experience with Turbine generation: specifically controls systems Mark Vie / LCI2100e and EX2100e
•Experience with Gas turbine control systems and auxiliaries
•Skilled in troubleshooting and diagnostics of Mark VIe, Mark VI, Mark V and Mark II control systems in both power generation and mechanical drive
