Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist vendors with proto facility setup for GRE, including facility configuration and related setup.
  • •Support machinery/tooling install, assembly, system debugging, and commissioning for proto runs.
  • •Develop and modify mechanical fixtures/jigs as needed, including tooling customization and mechanical design improvements.
  • •Support NPI engineers with process characterization (e.g., gage R&R and NPI experiments) and FAT/SAT buyoff.
  • •Manage IT/control-system readiness: maintain a master list for deployed PCs (OS/AV/IP/backup), perform regular backup integrity checks and data recovery, and troubleshoot network/security basics.

Key Requirements

  • •Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s undergraduate degree in Electrical/Software Engineering or Computer Science.
  • •Able to commit to a 5–6 month full-time internship starting in January 2027.
  • •Apply engineering fundamentals to support NPI work and machinery/tooling setup.
  • •Experience with data/statistical concepts including failure analysis, gage R&R, and SPC.
  • •Hands-on capability with operating systems (MS Windows/Office), backup and storage systems, and factory automation troubleshooting (PLC).
