Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the technical aspects of SerDes interfaces for Broadcom CSG products.
  • •Provide technical support for high-speed serial IO interfaces, including architecture and low-level hardware questions.
  • •Replicate and troubleshoot field issues in the lab using reference designs and test equipment.
  • •Deliver customer demos/presentations and support Field Applications Engineering for customers globally.
  • •Develop and maintain documentation and training/collateral; debug SerDes software driver bugs.

Key Requirements

  • •B.S./M.S. in Electrical/Computer Engineering (or similar).
  • •8+ years of experience with high-speed SerDes and Analog IP.
  • •Strong understanding of high-speed SerDes architecture and datapath flows (MAC, PCS, PMD).
  • •Hands-on experience with high-speed debug and characterization, including impairments like channel loss and jitter.
  • •Experience with script-based test automation and strong scripting skills.
