Job Summary

Own the technical interface support for Broadcom Core Switching Group’s SerDes interfaces across service provider, data center, and enterprise products. Troubleshoot high-speed serial IO issues, replicate field problems in the lab with reference designs and test equipment, and deliver customer demos and presentations. Work closely with engineering, software development, architecture, and marketing teams, debug SerDes software driver bugs, and maintain technical documentation and training collateral.

•Own the technical aspects of SerDes interfaces for Broadcom CSG products.
•Provide technical support for high-speed serial IO interfaces, including architecture and low-level hardware questions.
•Replicate and troubleshoot field issues in the lab using reference designs and test equipment.
•Deliver customer demos/presentations and support Field Applications Engineering for customers globally.
•Develop and maintain documentation and training/collateral; debug SerDes software driver bugs.

Salary: USD 121,900 - 195,000 annually

Key Requirements

•B.S./M.S. in Electrical/Computer Engineering (or similar).
•8+ years of experience with high-speed SerDes and Analog IP.
•Strong understanding of high-speed SerDes architecture and datapath flows (MAC, PCS, PMD).
•Hands-on experience with high-speed debug and characterization, including impairments like channel loss and jitter.
•Experience with script-based test automation and strong scripting skills.
