Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage tasks within larger remediation and investigation projects and produce technical planning documents and reports with senior support.
  • •Assist with proposal writing and cost estimating under the direction of Project Managers and senior technical staff.
  • •Support procurement efforts by helping to hire subcontractors and assist with managing their implementation of services.
  • •Plan and help lead field investigation activities (e.g., drilling, borehole logging, well installation, and groundwater monitoring) and oversee remediation work.
  • •Collect and interpret soil/groundwater samples and data, compare findings to relevant studies and regulations for compliance, and support preparing permits and access agreements.

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS in Geology (or related field) plus 2 years of related experience, or demonstrated equivalency.
  • •Experience with work or projects involving RCRA programs.
  • •Valid U.S. Driver's License and ability to pass AECOM's Motor Vehicle Records Review.
  • •Ability to pass a 9-panel drug and alcohol test for project requirements.
  • •Ability to work as part of a project team with AECOM staff and subcontractors.
