Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide global support for manufacturing facilities and coordinate new equipment installation and implementation.
  • •Design, program, commission, and troubleshoot manufacturing control systems and recommend controls policy/standard changes when needed.
  • •Write and maintain programs using plant equipment data within the SQL database, and keep manufacturing process tool electrical drawings updated globally.
  • •Develop safety assurance plans and conduct hazard analyses (HAZOPS, FMEA) to ensure compliance with IEC 61508 (or equivalent).
  • •Assist, support, and mentor controls engineers globally; coordinate complex, cross-functional control-system and integration projects and manage client relationships, contracts, and delivery.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • •Minimum 10 years of manufacturing equipment controls engineering experience.
  • •Strong controls engineering knowledge and ability to troubleshoot electrical/electronic control systems.
  • •Proven experience with Rockwell Automation Logix PLC programming (ladder and function block) and Rockwell HMI (PanelView Plus/CE, and Reviews SE).
  • •Experience creating electrical schematic and panel layouts using AutoCAD and designing/commissioning control networks (e.g., ControlNet, DeviceNet, Profibus, Ethernet).
