Key Responsibilities

•Support traditional server-based relational databases, including installation, configuration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
•Manage PostgreSQL databases on Azure, GCP, and AWS RDS, including automated backups, maintenance, and scaling.
•Analyze and optimize complex SQL queries to improve database performance.
•Configure alerts based on performance metrics.
•Manage incident and problem queues for database operations.

Key Requirements

•3-5 years of experience supporting enterprise storage and backup ecosystems.
•1-3 years of experience in database administration with SQL Server 2008/2012 in an enterprise environment with multiple database servers.
•Hands-on experience installing, configuring, tuning, and troubleshooting traditional server-based relational databases.
•Experience managing PostgreSQL databases on Azure, GCP, and AWS RDS, including automated backups, maintenance, and scaling.
•Good verbal and written communication skills, including customer-facing skills.
