Key Responsibilities

  • •Analyze a defined quality engineering workflow across contamination control, incoming quality control, and/or chemical laboratory analysis to identify opportunities for productivity and decision-making improvements.
  • •Develop an AI-enabled, automation, or digital solution for a real engineering quality challenge (e.g., improving inspection strategies, automating quality data analysis, or enhancing anomaly detection).
  • •Evaluate the solution using technical, quality, usability, and business-impact criteria and document limitations and potential impact.
  • •Build practical knowledge of quality systems, statistical methods, process characterization, and risk management in semiconductor manufacturing.
  • •Create deliverables including prototypes such as dashboards/analytical models/agentic solutions, technical documentation, and a final report and leadership presentation.

Key Requirements

  • •Pursuing a degree in a relevant field such as Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial and Systems Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, or similar.
  • •Strong analytical, statistical, and structured problem-solving skills for quality engineering workflows.
  • •Familiarity with Python, R, and Structured Query Language (SQL), plus data visualization or equivalent analytical tools.
  • •Familiarity with machine learning and Generative AI, including Large Language Models, AI Assistants, and/or AI Agents.
  • •Ability to collaborate effectively and produce technical documentation and presentations for project deliverables.
